This page does not include full details of our regular Meetings for Worship in thirteen towns and cities across Devon.
Please go to "Our Meetings" to find details of times, days and locations. All hold regular Sunday morning meetings, and there are some mid-week and evening meetings too.
Some Devon Quakers also join a daily online 'Epilogue' from 9 - 9:15pm, hosted by Friends from around England & Wales.
If you are interested in experiencing this daily spiritual practice, use the 'Contact us' page to ask for details.
2 April 2025 at 21:00 – 21:30 National Quaker event
Venue: Zoom
Young Adult Worship is a space for 18-35 year-olds to come together for worship, reflection, and connection.
It is hosted by Woodbrooke, Quaker's national study centre.
The format for this worship is what is sometimes called an ‘Epilogue’. The focus is to have some quiet time together at the end of the day; it will be held in Quaker stillness. You will be joining a silent meeting, there will be space to speak if you feel moved to and there may be a reading by the host. It will last around 30 minutes and those who wish to stay for a chat for 15 minutes or so afterward are very welcome to. You don’t have to be a Quaker to come to worship.
We will mute ourselves when not speaking to help ensure that everyone can hear ministry and to minimise background noise. Do join the meeting whenever you are ready: don’t worry if you can’t make it for the start time.

22 April 2025 at 09:00
Venue: Online
You are invited to participate in a global online meeting for worship to share uncertainties, fears and hopes and to uphold each other.
The radical and swift changes to the political landscape across the world that have taken place over the last few months have left many Friends concerned, fearful and disturbed.
In Britain, the Quaker Truth and Integrity Group (QTIG) have been concerned at the decline in truth and integrity in public affairs, primarily because of its deleterious effect on democracy. We now see Democracy around the world being undermined.
In this changed landscape, we are asking "What are Quakers called to do?"

What? An exciting all-age gathering, with camping, communal cooking and options for day visitors and to stay off site locally. There will be a flexible programme with optional themed activities. Opportunities for worship, spiritual exploration, games, crafts, walks & gentle exercise, and no doubt some singing and dancing.
Why? We have witnessed the joy and benefits of Friends coming together from across the Westcountry to share in Quaker worship and to nurture ourselves and our community. We’d like to build on these experiences.
Who? It is being hosted by Spiceland Local Meeting & West Somerset Area Meeting, for Friends who are resident in, or with links to the Westcountry.
We will need help!
We are seeking offers from people to join the small planning group; contribute to the programme; join as dedicated volunteers to help manage the event (we especially welcome young adults in this role)
TO REGISTER INTEREST:

We hope to have an outline programme available after Easter.
20 August 2025 at 21:00 – 21:30 National Quaker event
